Lilith Yu 于世禾 (she/any) is a Physics and Media Arts & Design student at the University of Chicago. She is trying to learn about the world and do kind things while staying playful and light-hearted. She’s especially interested in improving people’s lives through technology and design.


Many of her thoughts and actions revolve around these questions:
  • Who am I? What’s my purpose here? What is the truth about this world?
  • How can I improve and how can I help others improve and reach their full potential?
  • How can I make people happier in a sustainable way?


Lilith is also a Tibetan Buddhist practitioner, and a lot of her thoughts, opinions, and values are based on Buddhist philosophies.

  • She has no idea what she’s doing and she’s really confused about life and everything
  • She has a lot of imposter syndrome
  • She procrastinates a lot and wastes most of her time away
  • She used to have speech impediment when she speaks Mandarin. She is extremely bad at and afraid of writing, writing assignments are her worst fears
